The top tier team within the KY Freedom Organization is the 16U Flanders/Bruner squad, guided by veteran coaches Jeremy Flanders, Terrence Bruner, and Joe Carter. They are joined by pitcher and coach Rylee Carter, University of Pikeville standout and Ballard High School State Champion in 2022 and 2023. This elite group of young women is composed of exceptional talent and unwavering drive, consistently competing at the highest level every time they step onto the field.

Coach Jeremy Flanders led KY Freedom 2024 for over a decade, guiding every one of his student-athletes to secure collegiate scholarships, both athletic and academic. Of the 14 players under his leadership, 10 will begin their fastpitch softball careers in 2024, with another which joined the collegiate ranks in 2025. These student-athletes will compete across all divisions, including NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO.

The mission of KY Freedom 16U Flanders/Bruner is to deliver positive, development-focused coaching while creating opportunities to compete alongside equally skilled and passionate athletes. The program is dedicated to fostering individual growth and team excellence, with a clear emphasis on preparing players to succeed at the collegiate level.
